How the playlist generator works
When you click on the button at the top, a Spotify window will open. It will ask you to log into your account if you haven’t already. Log into your account. After that, an authorization window will open. Click ‘Accept.’ If you click ‘Cancel,’ you will be redirected to this page again and you won’t be able to create a new playlist. Once you accept, you will have your new “Permission to Dance” focus playlist. Enjoy it!
Playlist Structure
The playlist created using this generator will be a “Permission to Dance” focus playlist. There will be between three to four filler songs in-between “Permission to Dance.” Those filler songs will include songs like the BE tracks, “Butter,” “Butter” remixes, “Dynamite,” “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey),” other BTS tracks, and songs from other artists. The BE side tracks and Butter (Hotter, Sweeter, Cooler) tracks will appear with more frequency than other tracks. The songs that aren’t from BTS will be from BTS’ solo projects, collaborations, and tracks from their Spotify playlists. Tracks from mainstream artists from those playlists were omitted.

Why would you make a Spotify playlist generator?
Spotify is one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world. U.S. Spotify streams contribute to the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts; and global Spotify streams contribute to the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 excluding U.S.A. Playlists make it easier to stream those songs and a correct playlist structure helps to reduce the number of filtered streams. For more information, check our guide here.

Why is there only a Spotify playlist generator and not one for Apple Music?
This generator was created using the Spotify API, which is free for any Spotify user. Unlike Spotify’s API, Apple Music’s API isn’t free. To make something similar to this generator, a developer membership is needed, which costs USD $99.99. For more information click here.
